How to host a 'Glow Skate Nite' in your community:
We want to encourage everyone across the USA to host their own version of a Glow Skate Nite. Boosting viability in the community, showcases local talent and businesses.
Make a plan, set dates and contact a local business to see if you can use their space. Then reach out to some sponsors, and ask for donations. Please be mindful of current shipping delays and plan ahead. Don't forget to tag your sponsors on all Social Media platforms! Get a supply list together. Here is a link to my current list: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jIvHkqyQ8EXMU_i6uzvNOwt6v6SoHwNS/view?usp=sharing
Ask vendors and/or local businesses to join! Showcase local artists, crafters and all creators. This is a community event, and a great time to make new connections. Can’t afford a DJ and/or live music? Create a Spotify (any musical platform) playlist. Get a collection of community tunes so everyone has a chance to hear their favorite song! Next is to create marketing. This is an ongoing process as you add vendors, sponsors and charities to the event so keep the format simple. Share the event with the community. Set up and complete all unfinished tasks. Don't forget to charge all electronics!!!!!
Asking for Donations:
It's a good idea to ask for donations to help fund the community event. Donations can be used to pay for a DJ, Videographer, and/or Photographer. As well as 'community items' like: Glow Accessories, Backdrops & Props, and Free Concessions. NOTE: You should not charge for anything purchased with donation money.
Charity/Aid/Relief:
Pick a new charity/fund/donation each month to bring awareness to various topics/subjects you feel passionate about. Please give us your suggestions! You can email us at: twotiastruck@gmail.com
Ask for help from the community and assign equal tasks. Don't forget to have FUN! I hope this helps and encourages you to start your own GSN in your community. Tag us & let us know if we inspired your community event!
